The HCPL-J314 family of optocouplers features an AlGaAs LED coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output stage, making them ideal for driving power IGBTs and MOSFETs in motor control inverter applications. They offer high-speed response with a maximum propagation delay of 0.7 s, ultra-high common-mode rejection (CMR) of 25 kV/s, and a wide operating temperature range of -40C to 100C. With a wide VCC operating range of 10V to 30V and safety approvals including UL Recognition and IEC/EN/DIN EN 60747-5-2, these optocouplers are suitable for isolated IGBT/Power MOSFET gate drives, AC and brushless DC motor drives, inverters for appliances and industrial applications, and Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS).
