The CMT812X is a high-performance, dual-channel digital isolator utilizing silicon dioxide (SiO2) isolation barriers, capable of supporting up to 5 kVrms isolation voltage. It facilitates communication between two different power domains, preventing noise currents on data buses or other circuits from entering the local ground or interfering with and damaging sensitive circuitry. The CMT812X series offers two channels, with CMT812X1 defaulting to a high output and CMT812X0 to a low output. These isolators provide high electromagnetic immunity and low radiation at low power consumption, owing to innovative chip design and layout that significantly enhances EMC performance, meeting system-level ESD, EFT, surge, and radiation compliance requirements. The series is available in SOIC-16 wide body, SOW8L wide body, and SOIC-8 narrow body packages.
